![]() ![]() "It's no more than you deserve!" Sam shouted back, coming to the end of his rope. "That would kill us, kill us!" He whined, as though it would make a difference. Sam nodded in agreement, but Gollum gave a shrill, "No! ![]() "Let's just tie him up and leave him," I suggested, looking seriously at my companions. I reached out a hand to help him, growing suddenly concerned, but he brushed it off with a grateful glance. "Every Orc in Mordor's going to hear this racket!"įrodo walked forward, stumbling on the loose rocks. "It's hopeless," Sam moaned, looking back at Frodo with an expression of annoyance. "Quiet you!" I snapped, making Gollum rear up, screeching and wailing and writhing like the tormented being he was. "Nasty Elves twisted it!" Gollum cursed, spitting with fury. As he was dragged along it, he reached out and grabbed at a small rock protruding from the ground. "It freezes!" the sorry creature continued, just as Sam gave the rope a good hard yank, causing it to stumble and topple onto the rocks that littered the nearly nonexistant path. ![]() And maybe fear, but I doubted that it was likely. "It burns us!" He groveled and clung to the rocks as we passed them, and whined and hissed in pain and anger. "It burns!" Gollum wailed, hands groping at the rope. ![]()
